      Badminton FAQ

Badminton is a racket sport played either singles (1 vs 1) or doubles (2 vs 2), where players hit a shuttlecock back and forth over a net. The aim is to land the shuttle in the opponent’s court to score points.

A standard game is played to 21 points. A player/team must win by at least 2 points. If the score reaches 29–29, the first to 30 points wins.

Matches are usually played in a best of three games format.
